Edie Sedgwick's MAD MANIA POLL VOTE

Edie Sedgwick's MAD MANIA POLL RESULTS

Okay, now that the entire world has learned how to succeed in business without really trying, we on Madison Avenue should reevaluate our careers. Don Draper and company make this bidness look so easy that those of us who want to live dangerously should get out of advertising and open up a restaurant. Or join the Peace Corps.

How many feel the same way? We have delayed asking you for your opinion until now. Having already "experienced" five episodes so far, veteran Mad Men'rs by now should have formulated how they feel about Season Two.

The question is, or at least one of them, "Is MAD MEN just BAYWATCH with Clothes? Let us know your thoughts about this and anything else that you would need a drink or a cigarette in order to discuss.

Also, now that the "Win a Walk-On Part on MAD MEN contest" is winding down, here are a few outstanding video auditions that we thoughts were worth viewing. We think you'll agree

There are so many excellent videos. It's taken us hours and hours to comb through all of them. Some of the ones we selected have received hundreds of votes from MAD MEN fans. Others have received just a dozen or so. Bottom-line, every one of these five actors should get a walk-on part in next season's program. If not, your agency should consider hiring them!

Our selections were, of course, based on the quality of the performance. However, they were also influenced by the creativity of the video itself. You will see men playing women, women playing men and a vampire playing Agency head Roger Sterling. After all, advertising "is" a blood sport!
