Patented broadcast tool ensures timely, guaranteed delivery of messages within 30 seconds, providing high impact and maximizing exposure

elertz (stand 2400) will be demonstrating its brand new online broadcast communication channel which ensures timely, guaranteed delivery of messages within 30 seconds, whilst creating additional revenue opportunities through contextual advertising.

The elertz technology enables website owners to provide alerts direct to their customers’ desktops. The alerts are delivered in the form of a discreet flashing red star in the user’s browser. Clicking on the star takes the user directly to the relevant part of the website where the requested information is published.

Steve Morris, CEO of elertz, comments, “Marketers are now reallocating huge amounts of budget to online campaigns. However, website owners must be careful not to bombard their customer base with information and provide a more effective way of enabling customers to control where and when information is received.”

Morris continues, “By setting up a quick and reliable alerting system which provides up-to-the-minute information when a site is updated, companies can transform their online relationship with customers. Critically, end-users stay in control and manage the information, and so are more likely to respond positively to businesses providing relevant services or innovative products.”

The alert service is updated every 30 seconds, enabling companies to increase their use of time sensitive offers to boost customer loyalty programmes. Customers can also opt for an SMS service to deliver text alerts when they are offline.

Furthermore, the value of putting information control back in the hands of the customer base is proven: contextual advertising in this environment has demonstrated five times more chance of click-through than standard Google Adwords.

Morris concludes, “If organizations are to maximise their rapidly increasing online investment, they need to wake up to the need for a far more sophisticated approach that reflects customer demand and enables customers to manage their own information requirements. It is by putting more power in the hands of the user that organizations can actually boost loyalty, improve acquisition and maximise customers’ corporate value.”

Elertz can be used across a wide range of industries, for anything from marketing to customer service or communications along the supply chain. Elertz is exhibiting on Stand 2400.

About Elertz

Elertz is a new online broadcast communication channel which ensures timely, guaranteed delivery of messages within 30 seconds, providing high impact and maximising exposure. Using the Elertz communication tool, end users are alerted to the delivery of new information from websites of their choice by a small flashing red star located in their desktop browser.

Elertz removes phishing and spam problems and helps to combat communication gridlock by enabling end users to stay in control and manage the information they receive. This means they are more likely to respond positively to businesses providing important services or innovative products.

The Elertz mission is to make the Internet work for end users and legitimate businesses and to provide technology to thwart the spammers, scammers and phishers who do their best to corrupt the internet.
