Commercial Worthy: Feeding Apple Pie to Whales

Ask a Ninja: What Is Podcasting

ninja.jpg

When a wacky Ninja equates podcasting with feeding apple pie to whales, you know there's a creative mind behind the scenes somewhere...

This video, Ask a Ninja: What Is Podcasting?, was not quite irritating enough at the beginning for me to stop it from playing through (especially as it is short). Luckily, it gets funnier as it goes on, as the man fully garbed in an authentic-looking Ninja costume describes a whale in his pod ("that's how podcating got its name) swimming through brine seeking something better than a shrimp. Sounds strange, and it is, but in an amusing way.

H'mm. Could be used as an ad for iTunes if Mac wanted to sell more podcasts.

In a completely different direction, it could be a sort of public service announcement to get people to view more television (in the event that the doomsayers are right and the medium begins to lose ground to video content on the internet and mobile devices). Sort of a "TV is the real deal" kind of thing, with this clip meant to show exactly what TV is not.
