A Mad Opp to Meet Real MAD MEN this Thursday!

Last week it was the Walter Reade Theater and MoMA. This week it's AMC-TV's MAD MEN! For those of our MadAve Journal left coast readers interested in attending a MAD MEN panel discussion this Thursday, in Los Angeles, have we got some news for you!

AMC is giving away a fistful of tickets to a MAD MEN Panel Discussion at the 25th annual Paleyfest on Thursday, March 27 at 7PM! For those of you who have not walked the studio lot or hung out at the Mondrian in West Hollywood, PALEYFEST is an extraordinary interactive pop culture event, connecting fans with the casts and creators of their favorite series as well as the icons who have changed or are changing the face of media.

Named for William S. Paley, founder of both the Center and CBS, PALEYFEST continues its twenty-five-year tradition of celebrating the collaborative creativity behind making great entertainment content--from the genesis of an idea to that vital connection with audiences the world over.

It's billed as "An Evening with MAD MEN," Thursday, Mar 27, 2008 7:00 PM PDT, at the Cinerama Dome at the ArcLight in Hollywood.

Slated to appear are actors Christina Hendricks (Joan), Vincent Kartheiser (Pete), Elisabeth Moss (Peggy), John Slattery (Roger), Rich Sommer (Harry) and Aaron Staton (Ken) as well as series creator and executive producer Matthew Weiner!

To enter the sweepstakes and snag a pair of tickets, simply post a comment on this MAD MEN Blog link. AMC-TV will contact winners via e-mail on Thursday morning and have your names put on the will-call list at the theater. (You'll have to take care of transportation!)

If you aren't lucky enough to win tickets, don't despair. You can purchase them at TicketWeb for only 45.00 bucks:

As the next series of episodes are put in the can, this year AMC-TV, MAD MEN and the Mad Ave Journal will be rolling out myriad events to tantalize you such as this one; all of which will help you appreciate the good-will among co-workers, non-political nature in the conference room and best of all, the fundamental sense of job security we all enjoy on Madison Avenue, so well depicted in this award-winning MAD MEN series.

You're either new or you're through. Move fast and perhaps you'll get invited to this ad agency-esque brainstorm as it's being filmed!

Special thanks to Clayton Neuman, AMCtv's Community Editor for bringing this very cool ticket giveaway to us!

By attending this event you agree that The Paley Center for Media may include your image/voice in the recorded tapes of this event & use such tapes for any purpose without compensation to you.
